Anne-Sophie Desmaris is Regional Technical Advisor for Health and Nutrition for West and Central Africa at the French Red Cross. Graduated in Nutritional Policies and Human Nutrition – Public Health, Anne-Sophie DESMARIS has been supporting humanitarian programmes to fight malnutrition in West and Central Africa for 7 years.
On the one hand, it is involved in the curative management of acute malnutrition and in strengthening the preparation of health systems to respond to malnutrition peaks. On the other hand, it intervenes on community-based prevention – behaviour change communication targeted at Infant and Young Child Feeding.
