Karine Laaidi

Epidemiologist, Project Manager “Climate and Health” at Public Health France

Karine Laaidi has worked on various pathologies and public health problems influenced by climate or weather conditions (pollen allergies, strokes, car accidents, emergency care…). Her main areas of work at Santé publique France are the links between cold waves / heat waves and health: health impact monitoring, prevention, alert management. She works closely with Météo-France on the preparation and management of heat and cold warnings, but also through the Health and Environment Commission of the Conseil supérieur de la Météorologie.
